The ceremony of the 2nd edition of the INNCYBER Call for Projects took place on the afternoon of October 26th, at the Air Force Academy.

68 groups registered in the 2nd edition of the INNCYBER Call for Projects, resulting in a total of more than 150 participants including students (62) and supervising professors (40) from 23 universities in Portugal, Spain and Brazil. The Call also counted with participation from 49 researchers from 26 research centers from Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Finland and the USA.

The ceremony counted with 65 in person attendees and over 105 online presences.

To start the ceremony we had some great interventions by BGen. Armando Barros (Director of Air Force Communications andd Information Systems) and Prof. Telmo Vieira (Managing Partner at Premivalor Consulting) that certainly inspired the groups before their presentations (access full program here).

The groups were then able to present their innovative projects for our jury to evaluate and decide a winner in each category. The two winners of the 2nd Edition of the INNCYBER Call for Projects were Henrique Faria, supported by professor José Valença with "Lightweight + Post-Quantum Cryptography" (Students Category) and Nuno Mateus-Coelho with "POSMASWEB - Paranoid Operating System Methodology for Anonymous & Secure Web Browsing” (PhD and Researchers Category).
